Welcome to Creations by Luni, where we specialize in providing you with unique and sustainable costume creations that stand out! I am passionately committed to reducing, reusing, recycling as much fabric and fiber as I can to make a positive impact on our environment. By actively thrifting materials, collecting donations, and ensuring that my clothes are washed properly, I strive to help fight against the growing issue of fabric and fiber pollution. I invite you to join me on this exciting as we celebrate creativity and sustainability in every costume we offer!
Fabric pollution results from the textile industry's resource-intensive processes, contributing to landfill overload, water and microplastic pollution, and high greenhouse gas emissions. Annually, the world produces 92 million tons of textile waste, with much of it going to landfills, and washing synthetic clothes releases microplastics into oceans. The production of textiles also consumes significant water and energy, utilizes many chemicals, and relies heavily on non-renewable resources like fossil fuels for synthetic fibers.
My goal is to eventually be able to donate a percentage of sales to charities or companies who are committed to this same mission. The WWF, Textile Exchange, Fabscrap, Fashion Revolution, and Greenpeace are some of my favorites! Please check them out and do more research beyond my description to join the cause.

Despite the challenges that come with living with a chronic illness, I am fully dedicated to turning my dream of becoming a successful costume designer into reality.
